Chapter 7 bankruptcy dismissed

I am renting my home and a prospective tenant has a chapter 7 bankruptcy filed in 7/98 that was dismissed. Should I be concerned about this? What does it mean?

Are you asking for advice on how to assess the tenant's current financial viability as a credit risk? If so, that's way out of my area of expertise. To directly answer your question, it means he filed a bankruptcy and did not receive his discharge.
