I am not clear what you mean by "go after" her in a bankruptcy proceeding? Is she filing, or are you? If you file bankruptcy, unless she is a co-debtor on the obligation, they most likely cannot pursue her for the debt. Without reviewing the credit agreements, application and other information, it is impossible to say whether or not she is liable for any of your debts. Often, unmarried persons do obtain credit jointly, and in that case yes she would continue to be liable even if you filed bankruptcy.
