I have filed Chapter 7 I have a auto that I want to surrender to the bank before my hearing can I do this.

Yes. If you have an attorney, have them contact the creditor and arrange for the surrender of the vehicle. If you do not have an attorney, call the lender and advise them that you want to surrender the vehicle as a part of your bankruptcy. They will generally send a recovery agent to come get the car from you.

You should have an attorney arrange for you to hand over your auto to the bank. Depending upon the nature of your case and your goals/expectations, your attorney may advise you to simply call bank and arrange to hand over the vehicle. I would highly recommend that you consult with an attorney to determine the best strategy for your individual situation in light of your goals and expectations.
