Filing for bankurptcy

I have a celluar phone will the judge allow me to keep an active cell phone during my bankruptcy I can afford to pay for a cell phone only and I have the money to cover the bill every month I still want to work on buliding my credit score and can I put my cable bill on my bankruptcy?

Yes, a cellphone--if a reasonable monthly rate--is considered a normal necessary expense usually.

You must list all of your debts. If you owe nothing to the cell phone company, then you don't need to list it as a creditor. If you owe money, likely it would want a deposit from you in the amount you still owe. Usually, the judge doesn't get involved. A trustee -- usually a lawyer or a CPA -- is hired to administer your bankruptcy estate to see if there are assets to liquidate to pay the creditors.
