Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy
My husband and I filed bankruptcy in 1996 and we are seriously in debt now and are being threatened by creditors about going to the DA with collection. Can we file bankruptcy again? We need to get out of this situation. We are in danger of loosing our car and having trouble paying out monthly rent and bills. Please help!!

What chapter did you file before and what was the result of the case? (i.e. was it discharged, dismissed, converted, etc?)
