Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

I the landlord do i have to pay for repair's on my rental when the tenants haven't paid rent for 6 months? we gave them a 3 day notice in july for nonpayment of rent( almost 2 months),went to court then they filed for bankruptcy the court gave them a stay we been to court since and the judge said he can't do anything until the bankruptcy is final and that may not be until febuary.as of dec. i lost over $9,000 in rent alone, they called me up today and said the hot water heater went out. the question is do i have to pay for a new hot water heater when they haven't paid nothing for 6 months?

If you had retained an attorney, more than likely the tenants would have been long gone. There are ways to handle things in the bankruptcy court.

They are entitled to hot water as long as they live there.
