Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
If you are behind on payments on a car at the time you file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, do you still have a right to redeem or reaffirm, or is it only at the lender's discretion?

You can redeem. The bank probably will not agree to reaffirm.
