Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

How do I get a refund from lawyer that have not performed any service..I paid funds per his request stating that he would submit paperwork as of today no action have taken place t...I alway thought that an oathe was taken and if a lawyer tell you something you could consider it truth...now I just want refund ...do I have to try and get another lawyer to help me get funds it was for bankruptcy filing....Help

You should call the lawyer and find out what's going on. If you're not satisfied, tell him that you want your money back, and give him a deadline for the refund. You should also put your demand in writing. Sometimes, bankruptcy firms take in more work than they could timely handle. But, they shouldn't make promises they can't keep.
