Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

How do I stop my chapter 7 bankruptcy that I am currently in? I live in California.

(Sucking-air-through-teeth noise.) That doesn't sound good. Which is why, like virtually all bankruptcy filers, one should hire counsel before jumping in Federal legal waters, then proceed with confidence to successful resolution. It's difficult to find representation mid-stream.

Failure to fulfill requirements can lead to involuntary dismissal. You cannot voluntarily dismiss a chapter 7; if you belatedly realized you have too many assets, they may be subject to liquidation. Nevertheless, I hope it works out for you.
