Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

can a student file bankruptcy on a student loan? he graduated in december and had some trouble finding a job. the job he did find is not sufficient enough to pay the loan apyments which are now way behind. there is another small loan that is beginning to ask for payments too.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but student loans are not dischargeable (can't be canceled) in bankruptcy. There are very, very rare exceptions.
