Legal Question in Business Law in California

My employer wants me to sign off on our reviewed financials as the accounting manager. I am not comfortable doing so as I know of many instances where generally accepted accounting principles have not been followed. I have constantly approached the CEO of these discrepancies and informed him these issues would not stand up to scrutiny. I need to know my liability if I did happen to sign or what my options are at this point. I fear termination if I do not go along with this.

You don,t ever have to sign anything unless you want to. How big is the company? Are shareholders involved. My advise: don't sign right now.
