Re: fellony charg

If you plead guilty to a felony, you will be convicted and sentenced. What that means depends on your prior record, the amount of the victim's loss, and whether there are other mitigating or aggravating circumstances, as well as the probation officer's recommendation and the DA's request.

Anyone charged with a felony, or a misdemeanor for that matter, is entitled to be represented by a lawyer. If you can't afford one, the court will provide you with an attorney, usually a public defender.

You should be asking questions like this one to the attorney hired or appointed to defend you. Do not plead guilty, innocent or no contect until you have consulted with a lawyer.
