Legal Question in Business Law in California

The judge declared attorney fees after I lost my breach of contract case. I have new facts now and want to file motion for reconsideration. When do I file, do I have to wait for th ejudgment to be offial or I can file now. The court date where the plaintiff was granted fees was august 24. Thankyou for your response.

A motion for reconsideration must be filed within 10 days of the decision.

Mr. Marman is correct. You need to bear in mind, however, that a motion to vacate the decision and order a new trial will require you to prove there was no way for you to know about and present these new facts at the time of trial. I've never seen anyone successfully do that. If you try to do it without a lawyer you not only will lose, there is a good chance you will be ordered to pay the other side's additional attorneys fees.
