Legal Question in Business Law in California

My landlord want to relocated my shop,I signed amendment to relocated my shop,

In amendment have one section wrote:

Lanlord's work. Landlord, at landlord's sole cost and expense, shall complete the following work within the new premises sublect to the center's standard materials and finishes ("Landlord's work:):

(a) Complete work per attached Exhibit A, not to exceed Seventy two thousand dollars ($72,000.00).

All other work and improvement to the premises shallbe Tenant's sole responsibility.

My question: If landlord do all work list in the Exhibit A, cost over $72,000.00,

Do I have to pay exceed amount to Landlord?

My legal opinion is No, though the contract would have to be studied more. The landlord should advise you if to cost more, or simply construct within the budget.
