A very quick check of the USPTO Web site seems to indicate that the name "Lovecraft" has been taken as a trademark for clothing, jewelry and a film festival. The name may be available for products that don't fall into these categories. Whether the name is available for quilting items would require further facts and research. It may be ..... but it depends upon what items you'd actually be trademarking.
