My husband and I have a sole proprietorship business, in my name, and we would like to change to a general partnership...what do we need to file and with whom?

Re: sole proprietorship

Technically, all you really need in CA for a general partnership is a handshake. There are no filing reuirements. However, you and your husband should consider a partnerhsip that also addresses the fact that you are married.
