Legal Question in Business Law in California

I am starting a dog walking service. I live in Huntington Beach, CA (Orange County). I am planning on getting clients in Long Beach, CA (LA County). I will be walking the dogs at a park in Long Beach. My question is: Do I get the business licence and fictitious business name where I live? (Huntington Beach, Orange County) or where I am walking the dog (Long Beach, LA County)?

you need to be licensed in all cities where you will operate the business. It sounds like you will be based in Huntington, but working in Long Beach. You will need licenses from both cities. The LA County license you refer to is for the unincorporated parts of LA County, not within the City of Long Beach.
