Well, it certainly is a long way from Ireland, or Nigeria, or wherever it is you won the sweepstakes that you never entered.

I did not recognize that you were referring to an email notification. Mr. Telanoff is absolutely correct: the "you give us money first then you'll get 10x or 1000x back" is an old scam. Moreover, you cannot win a sweepstakes you never entered.

Only if you want this scam artist to have your $395. There are no 'winnings' on a 'contest' you never entered. Come on! Well, at least you asked someone before paying and losing your money.
