doing work for seniors citizens.

We are a plumbing contractor countless times we do work for seniors, time goes by either the family member or the senior calls after the work is done and says we took advantage of them and overcharged them.due to the fact that they arn't realy able to make the decisions and we pressured them,then they find someone to come out after work is complete and give a much cheaper bid how do we cover ourselves I am at a loss.

That is an excellent question. There are probably a few things you can do that are realistic, (unrealistic might be getting a statement from their doctor, or having their children sign), for example, talking to them and taking careful notes regarding what they say that shows competence. Good Luck, it could be a very serious issue.

I assume that you are not overcharging senior,or anyone else. Your problem is simply being able to prove it in this recurring situation. If you have associates in the business, your might line up some additional opinions, or if you have done such work before, have those invoices available to show the relatives that your fees were not increased to the senior. The fact that you are accustomed to charging what you presently are charging the senior should resolve the matter.
