I'm I able to claim my daughter in my taxes even though I don't provide for her or lives with me?

If your daughter is a minor child for whom you owe an obligation of support, it is not appropriate for you to claim the child for tax purposes when you are not providing for her actual support. The IRS and child support enforcement agencies take a very dim view of such actions.
