With a trial ten days away, your only options are going to trial, or asking the court for a continuance of the trial. Only if you hire counsel will the court be tempted to grant the continuance. It seems you know little of the law or proceedures needed to prepare for trial and put on your case properly. So, if you are willing to hire counsel to seek a continuance, and then conduct the trial or settle the case, contact me to discuss the fees and facts.
