What is the procedure for service of a demurrer in the state of California

Mail a copy to opposing counsel. Attach a proof of service. Make sure that it bears the date, time and place of the hearing, and meets all other requirements of the Code of Civil Procedure, the California Rules of Court, and the local court rules, if any.
