Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Good morning,

My ex girlfriend is trying to put me under a restraining order ( I'm very embarrassed about this situation)

But one stipulation was she wanted me to delete all our pictures and movies we took together, many were of sexual nature and content.

They were made with her consent ( although no waiver was signed ) and the pictures were freely given over email, do I need to delete them?

I know it's awkward but I'm hoping your wisdom can help me. Any recommendations would be merciful as well.

Warm regards,

Landon

You seek wisdom and mercy? Well, as to mercy, you need to seek that from her. As to wisdom, hire an attorney to try to negotiate your way out of the mess you both made. Understand, that if a domestic dispute restraining order is imposed upon you, it may make you a 'prohibited person' barred under state and federal law from ever owning or possessing firearms, and that becomes part of your DOJ 'rap sheet', if that is important to you for employment or other reasons. Courts are easily persuaded to impose restraining orders once requested, 'to keep the peace'. You face difficulty in avoiding that. If serious about hiring counsel for this, feel free to contact me.
