Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

I have owned my company for 20 years. my girlfriend and I have been living together fot the past 11 years and she worked at my company for 8 years. She decided she wanted to stay home and work around the house. I agreed. I may have said that I would take care of here for the rest of her life. I want her out of my house and off the payroll. She thinks I should pay her a weekly Check until shes is 65 and she wants half my house. She did pay the house hold bills for 11years and maybe a hotwater heater. What do you think?

Her claim is called palimony. It all depends on how strong her claim can be proven, whether it was written, etc. Consult a divorce lawyer.

I 'think' she can file the same dissolution action as if married, and make a claim for half your assets and for support payments. Time to get yourself a divorce attorney before saying anything to her. .
