probation search

during a probation search for my boyfriend (who wasn't at home at the time) after telling the officer in charge that he could'nt search my purse because of my right to say no (i have never even had a traffic ticket)the officer pryed the purse from my hands and dummped it out on the bed where he found a small amount of meth and pot with a pipe too. i was then arrested and taken to jail. was the evidence obtained illeagaly? and if i file a motion to surpress evidence do i have a chance of winning the motion?

Sounds like you would have a decent shot at winning a Penal Code 1538.5 motion, you would need to hire a lawyer.
