Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

The problem is police always pulls me over, and try to harass me for looking like a gang member. They get mad when I express me right of nothing consenting a search, and they always try to use the littlest thing to say that they're going to take me to jail. I am under 18 years of age. Am I even required to identify myself just because I'm walking down a known gang neighborhood? What can't and can I do?

Dress and act like a gang member, get treated like a gang member. Become known as that, suffer the natural consequences. Dressing like or being known as one provides police 'suspicion' to stop and check for weapons or contraband, and check for probation / parole status which carries waiver of 'search and seizure rights'. Yes, everyone is required to identify themselves to police when asked, and provide ID. If you don't, they take you into custody to ID you the hard way. You want this to stop, don't dress and act like one, and move away from gang territory.
