what if my ex- sister in law stole some checks of mine that was from a closed bank of america account and cashed them at a local meat market and i found out later when trying to run my criedt for a car at a used car dealership,and recived a letter from a collection agent by mail.what or my step to prove my case

To prove your case, well, the bank should have copies of the cancelled checks and who signed them. She might have forged your signature, too, so you have to prove that's not your signature. If you are sure it was her, and not someone else, then report her to the police for theft.
