Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

My son was wrongly accused of innapropriatly touching a client of mines daughter. He completely denied the accusations. There was an investigation into this and the officer said that it was a case of he said she said and there was no physical proof or proof of any kind for that matter and no charges were filed. My x- client is now going around and telling everyone that he molested her daughter when he did not . she is now starting to affect my sons and my business reputation. Is there anything I can do to stop her from saying these unfounded things? Can I sue her for malicious slander ?

If you're asking if your son can sue someone slandering him, yes. The burden of proof is on your son, but if you learned of the slander it means there are witnesses to it. If the case has merit [reasonable chance to win] and value [settlement or judgment potential] and collectability [defendant with assets to collect from], then feel free to contact me for the legal help you'll need.
