stealing

me and 2 of my friends stole 12.66 of

alcohol. we are all 19 and in the mail it

says there gonna charge me 400 and

my 2 other friends the same amount.

isn't that a lilttle extreme on top of

this I'm a full time student and jobless

for now

You're lucky that you (so far) don't have a criminal record for theft, you'd never work again. You owe them $400 to help defray the costs of catching you (maintaining a loss prevention department). Why should the store's honest customers have to pay?

You think extreme now? Wait until you get the court notice that you are charged with the crime and have to appear in court or have an arrest warrant issued against you. Consult with local criminal defense counsel immediately, before saying or doing anything.
