Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

If I own a videography and photography business can I refuse services to gay couples due to my religious beliefs? Or will I eventually get sued? Thank you.

It's illegal for you to discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, at least in your business. Is business going so well that you can afford to turn away customers? Get over it.

Quite likely. It is a clear violation of law to so discriminate. You are unwise to tell people why you decline. Any business has the right to refuse service, so long as it is not for illegal reasons.
