Political websites

I would like to post a website that tracks our political leaders in real time. Is that legal?

If by "track" you mean publish the physical whereabouts of political leaders, you aren't doing anything different than the New York Times, and you would not be doing anything illegal. If your information is detailed enough to possibly endanger someone or invade their privacy, for example you are giving out home addresses or hotel room numbers, you might be on shakier ground.
