porn download

I was wondering if downloading gay porns, both clips and full-length, from blogs and free-downloading sites were illegal. And if it is illegal, what would be the punishment for downloading them?

To the extent "porn" is "illegal," gay porn isn't any more illegal than is straight porn. Do you mean "illegal" in that you could be criminally charged? Or "illegal" in that you could get sued because you violated someone's copyright? Either can happen.

Except for child porn which remains very illegal to possess, my best guess is that the era of widespread obscenity prosecutions is behind us.
