Legal Question in Technology Law in California

Someone Spamming using our domains

I'm the DOO for WebSite.ws; registry for the .WS TLD. Someone is Spamming using our customers' domains to spoof the email headers. This is happening to many customers. I'm trying to find out what legal recourse we have; possibly as a group. I looked up ownership info for the .BIZ domain referenced in the email bodies. It's someone in Phillipines. I believe the whois details are probably false though. I'm not sure how to proceed. Any guidance you can give is MUCH appreciated.

Spammers are tough to track down. The first thing you should do is determine your threshhold for fighting this battle. Do you have some cash to throw at the problem? If not, then it is unlikely you will prevail.

If you have the cash (or can cobble together a group of persons who can contribute to a litigation fund), then you need to identify the spammer. You may be right that the Phillipines identifiers are fake. Would it be possible to show me the info you have? I may already be familiar with the spammers if they are on the ROKSO database.
