Legal Question in Technology Law in California
Can I video a store employee telling me something like "You will not get any sort of additional fees from buying this equipment..." to hold as evidence if need be?

It would be better to get it in writing, signed by a store manager. Even better, buy at a store where this is not going to be a concern.
