Legal Question in Technology Law in California

Is it a violation of free speech for a company to delete a post about one of their products on their public message forums and temporarily ban the poster if they don't like the text based contents of it? it is nothing illegal, defamatory, against their terms of service or forum guidelines.

No. Only the government is forbidden to abridge your freedom of speech. A private company has the right to remove posts from its own web forum.

My answer is also "no," but I would be a bit more cautious about saying that the First Amendment has no impact on private forums.
