Legal Question in Constitutional Law in California

Cal Pers Pension has been forzen.

I divorced my husband in 1987 and he was given a portion of my retirement.I will be retiring on Sept 2006 and his wife is trying to recieve the portion of my retirement. She has gotten a lawyer and my pension has been frozen.

I am currently involved with a similar case. You must answer the summons if you were recently served with a notice of joinder. It will be determined what share of the pension your spouse is entitled to based upon years of marriage and a separate account will be opened for payment. Call me directly at 16192223504.

Sounds like you need a lawyer to deal with this issue. Obviously, if you retire, you should be able to draw your portion of the pension, which should be substantially greater than his portion.
