power of attorney
My husband was admitted into the hospital,when he was realeased his sister took him home with her he thought he was coming to our home. For the next few months i had no way of getting in contact with my husband. Then i was informed he was back in the hospital. My husband died september 12,2006. When a found out where he was i called the staff would not give me any information because his sister had power of attorney over him .3 days befor he passed i took our 8 yr old son to see him and to find out was going on. We were legally married i had every thing i needed to prove it. They would not let me in my son got to go in for about 5 minutes. for my son i didnt cause i seen. 2 days later my husband died. Its been 9 months and i still dont know what really happend to my husband. How can i find out if she really had power of attorney. If she didnt ,she made decisions for my husband and the hospital allowed her to. I dont know if he recicved the best care did she allow the doctors to give him the best care they could. She never contacted me or our kids to let us know what was going on or when he died neither did the hospital. As his wife did i not have a right to anything concering my husband. I need some help.

You need to contact an attorney; you should have done that a long time ago.
