height limits

I need to know if there is any exceptions to the height limits that are in the building code.

we plan to install grain silo to the max limit of 25' and they require a distribution systems of pipes to exceed the limit to as much as 70'

It depends a lot upon the local zoning code, the local General and Specific Plans which might affect the site you are developing. You need to contact a building official at the City, Town or County in which you are building, and if the codes prohibit construction beyond the 25' ceiling, then seek a conditional use permit or variance from the local jurisdiction.
