i am a subcontractor in california and the general contractor is 6 mos over schdule, cost have goneway up since job started. what rights do i have

Your rights are determined by the kind of contract you have with the GC. You also have your lien rights. Be aware that there has been some recent changes in the lien rights for contractors. While the job is still on going, I would suggest that you consult an attorney.
