As far as I am concerned, if you are old enough to serve and risk your life defending the U.S. you are old enough to drink. During the Vietnam War the legal drinking age was lowered to 18 for this reason. However, 21 is now the law nationwide, and legally your military ID is good to buy liquor only if you are 21.
