CA Small Claims Appeal how long does the judge have to render a judgement?

Unfortunately, the best answer I can give you is "when the judge gets around to it". A small claims appeal isn't exactly their highest priority. Most small claims appeals I've seen took less than 2 weeks to get a decision. However, budget cuts have devastated the court system in California and it could take much longer.
