used private party car sales

A guy bought our 1995 Mazda mx6 for $1000, 2 weeks ago. He is just now calling saying that he had to do all these repairs to the car 3 days after having the car. He never called us and let us know that the car needed these repairs until after he had already done them. Now he wants to sue us for the price of the car and the price of the repairs. Can he do that?

Anyone can file a lawsuit. Such sales are considered as is and he took the risk when he bought it. He could have had it inspected before the purchase.
