Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

i purchased a product from a business. the product i recieved was not working 100% up to specs. i contacted the manufacturor of the product and sent it to them to have it fixed. they sent it back to me saying it was working, when it was clearly not. one person at the manufacturor even agreed with me that there was a problem. now, after 6 months of this back and forth game, my only option given to me it to pay to ship it back to them so they can "fix it" again. What is my best course of action against this company to just get this over with and get my money back?

It depends on the terms of their warranty. Most likely your only rights are to have the product fixed, not to have your money back.
