Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

I went to small claims court for breach of oral contract on Jan.14, 2013 and the judge awarded in the defendant's favor. The agreement was if I became good enough as a photographer after his teachings he would give me a job and pay me $800.00 a week. I worked very hard for the job by shooting 85 photo shoots which contained 14 doubles. I spent 78 days of driving 62 miles a day. I drove 4,836 miles in a four month period. The judge inquired to the defendant about the darkroom and lighting as if he was interested in learning. The judge kept my evidence that I had and he heard from my witness. I don't see how the judge could do that to me. I can't believe it. I mean, where is JUSTICE. He did not hire me because he accidentally left a message on my phone for another woman inviting her out to the movies and he thought I was going to tell his wife. I worked for a job and didn't get it. The girls got their photos and he got pictures of all my girls. I got nothing in return. What can I do to hear my case heard by a fair judge with no intentions. thank you. please help

You were the plaintiff. You lost. No appeal...what you claim is injustice may have been a fair ruling... Without all the details of the case I will offer that suing in California Small Claims for less than 10,000 would only have covered 13 weeks of ay employment contract.... I wonder if there was any consideration on the contract. If the promise was illusory it is not enforceable...you state that if you became good enough and this sonds like that was subjective and maybe you were not good enough...
