SPAM: Combining list and distribution services
SPAM, or unsolicited fax and email is illegal in the United States.
What are the regulations governing Service Providers who offer Fax and Email distribution services and also help clients obtain lists?

Email spam is NOT illegal but should be. Unsoclicited fax is illegal as to the person that sends the fax but probably not the person who sells lists. i successfully sued a company that ordered a fax sent by a sevices firm and my guess would be that both are liable
