Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I have a California judgment against a defendant that also resides in California but is employed by a Missouri corporation. I was told I need a sister state judgment to garnish this individual's wages through the Missouri corporation. What is my next step here?

Take a debtor's exam and find out if the judgment debtor has a bank account and any other assets in CA. Also, you can retain an attorney in MO to do the sister state judgment for you. You will need to get a certified copy of the CA judgment and send it to the lawyer in MO.
