i got a call from a gentleman saying i had a restraining order for me. he called from florida and i live in california. my Question is, if it is real wouldnt i have gotten something in the mail or by a person as a server? i think this could be a creditor playing games.

More to the point, wouldn't you know who it was that wanted the restraining order? Hang up on them.

Sounds like a con artist even more than an unscrupulous creditor.
