credit card debt and bankryuptcy

My husband and I are separated. I have 35,000 credit card debt. I want to file bankruptcy, will my husband be affected at all. All the debt is in my name only.

If your husband is not a signer on any of the credit cards, then filing bankruptcy should not show up on his credit report. Also, if you maintain a separate residence, your husband's income will not be considered for purposes of the means test (which means it is more likely you will qualify for a chapter 7 bankruptcy).
