garnishment, please help

ok , my wages have been being garnished from a previous eviciton. I have paid half of the judgement off, and the other person that was on the lease has not paid a penny. How do i stop them from garnishing my wages and have the other person on the lease be liable for the remainder balance ?!?!

Re: garnishment, please help

They'll stop garnishing your wages when the judgment is fully paid or you file bankruptcy. Since they have a "live one," they have no incentive to go after the other person.
