If a creditor obtains a judgment against you, it could place a lien against your home and, perhaps, execute against your home. I haven't heard, though, of a credit card attempting to execute on a home unless the debt is very large. It's usually not worth the time or cost to do so.

You didn't say whether you own the home outright. You should consult with an attorney if you're considering filing bankruptcy.
